Harbor Command

Harbor Command is a slow-burn strategy game about logistics, which sounds dull until you're three hours in and frantically rerouting cargo around a blockade. You manage ports, shipping lanes and a modest navy, balancing growth against the pirates eyeing your gold.

The interface is the hero here. Everything important is one tap away, and you can pause and plan at any moment. That makes it playable in short bursts despite the depth underneath.

I'd steer newcomers toward the campaign before touching skirmish mode. The campaign eases you into each system, whereas skirmish throws everything at you at once.
